My Story
Gioconda gomez

From an early age, I was interested in drawing dresses and making clothes for my own dolls.
My sisters loved asking me for advice on how to style themselves. As I grew up, I usually drew the dresses I wanted to wear and my mum would take me to a seamstress to have them made.
I really enjoy being unique.I love feeling both comfortable and stylish, as well as combining elements from different decades. I'm passionate about making and wearing timeless accessories.
I have a degree in Fashion Design, specialising in Clothing, and have worked for many years with re-known Venezuelan fashion designers.
Then in 2006 I became a mum for the second time. Having two young children at home, I didn’t have the time to work on designing and making clothing pieces, but I felt I needed to do something creative.
Thanks to a close friend, who introduced me to jewellery making, I first started playing and experimenting with it. I truly feel that jewellery design chose me.
The more time I spent on it, I felt that my creativity was developing a different way to express itself.
After making many necklaces for myself, and having people complementing them on several occasions, I felt encouraged to make jewellery to sell.
My designs are bespoke and each piece has its own style. No pieces are equal. I combine different materials and textures (gemstones, wood, glass, acrylic, resin, clay, cooper, sterling silver, metal), as well as textures, colours, epochs.
It is fun to use my knowledge of fashion and haute couture on my jewellery designs.
I like to create pieces that are both functional and beautiful; and can adapt to your clothing style.
Having lived in different countries in different continents also influence my designs. I have participated in several fairs and public events, as well as private parties for children and grown-ups.
I love to hear from my clients the way they feel after wearing the jewellery I made. I strongly believe that wearing a nice piece of accessory is a way to make us feel empowered and self-confident.

Gorgeous Agate
November 20, 2016
The Gorgeous Agate are one of the earliest works I made when I decided to start to design Jewellery again, yet it touches upon some elements that continue to fascinate me and are somehow embedded into my work.
An artist’s theme can often be seen and felt throughout the years, collections, and even individual pieces.
Please feel free to contact me to know more about this piece.
I love Agate!

Hapiness

I don’t believe we need a formal definition of happiness; I know it when I feel it, and we often use the term to describe a range of positive emotions, including joy, pride, contentment, and gratitude.
I was feeling that way when I made this piece of Jewellery, I didn't plan it, just happened. I was organizing my studio and found those combination of color and texture of beads in a bowl and I felt in love with it.
With the use of color and abstract expression, I manage to express my positive energy in this piece, its selfishness, but also its incredible resilience.
I Love you!
